The Silence Of The Sound

The lonely clarinet player sits alone,
In one corner of the stage,
As the others feel free in music,
He holds on to his cage,

As the others create harmony,
The daft fingers on notes high,
He remains seated alone,
His instrument lying by,

The violin plays a note high,
The piano follows suit,
But he remains unmoved as always -
As lonely as the flute.

Nobody heard the sound of silence,
No one heard his song,
His music remained unheard of,
As music was felt wrong.
